![]() Joyce preaches and teaches the word of God and enjoys using the creativity God gives to bring souls to Christ. Joyce is currently a member of the Latreuo Dance Ministry at St John, and assists as a leader of Latreuo Jr, the youth dance ministry at St John AME where she is also the First Lady. She is also the overseer of the One Body In Christ Movement - For God’s Purpose (OBICM-FGP) island wide dance ministry which has ministered in the 24th of May parades and various engagements across the island. She is also the coordinator for the Bermuda AME Conference Music and Creative Arts Ministry (MCAM) which brings various forms of the arts together across the AME churches in Bermuda. Joyce has been a member/participant and choreographer with the Richard Allen AME Dance ministry, and the Bermuda AME conference dance ministry and teaches workshops when called upon. Joyce feels EXTREMELY blessed to have been given two such lovely bonus sons who call her ‘mom’. They have two wonderful sons Jeremie and Jarreau. ![]() As God would have it, she is now a ‘transplanted onion’ as she moved to Bermuda after marrying Rev. Joyce was part of the group that brought dance workshops to Bermuda in 1993. Realizing that God was continuing to call her to ‘study to show herself approved’ Joyce enrolled at Wesley Theological Seminary and completed a Master’s in Divinity Degree in May 2003 and then a Doctor of Ministry degree with a concentration in the arts in May 2008. Joyce was introduced to a church with a dance ministry - Ebenezer AME, in Fort Washington, MD - and was lead to join that church in November 1992 – and has been dancing for the Lord ever since!Īs God began to show her that dance ministry was the call on her life, she attended American University and completed a Master’s Degree of Fine Arts (with a concentration in Dance) in December 1998 to enhance her ministry. She attended Georgetown University – where she completed a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting in 1982. She grew up in Charles County Maryland where she began dancing at age 5 and won oratory contests while a youth. "To God be the glory for the things He has done." He is a graduate the Bermuda Technical Institute, and the Bermuda College. Samuel Sinclair Hayward and the late 1st Lady, Mother Edith Blanche Hayward. Clair Hayward was born in Southampton, Bermuda.
